There are several villages within easy distance of Little Treworlas Farm, all with pubs offering good food. The closest village is Veryan, two miles away, which has a shop, post office and a 16th century inn.

The landscape on the Roseland Peninsula is breathtaking and there are beautiful coastal walks and cycle routes literally on our doorstep.

Pendower and Carne are both sandy beaches, perfect for children and only a 15-20 minute walk across the fields, or a 3-minute drive. The harbour village of St Mawes is a 15-minute drive and from there you can take the passenger ferry to Falmouth and the National Maritime Museum.

Also within a few minutes you can be on the King Harry Ferry across the river and on the road to the cathedral city of Truro, Falmouth and beyond.

There are plenty of wonderful gardens, including Trelissick, Caerhays and The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Roseland is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Alternatively, if you are feeling energetic, horse riding, sailing and other water sports are all available nearby.
